WHY DO REDBUBBLE REVIEWS SEEM FAKE?
I was surprised when I went down on my sticker listing and found 150 good ratings after uploading my first design to Redbubble.
I checked my Shop Dashboard and after that, I checked my email for any sold item, didn’t find a single sale which make me disappointed and confused.
So, I start checking reviews that were all good 5 stars and positive then I notice the date on reviews it shows dates before I created my shop on Redbubble.
Finally, I came to know that: Redbubble’s reviews are not fake
Redbubble reviews from customers are for the item being sold, and specific product’s quality – items like material, size, fit, and so on. Not for the product with your artwork on it.

Redbubble is one of a kind worldwide print-on-demand online marketplace that allows an artist to showcase their artwork for sale. Redbubble also gives the freedom to artists to manage their own prices of the products and which images should display on their products.

Redbubble was created by Martin Hosking, Peter Styles, and Paul Vanzella in 2006 with $2 million in investment capital. Redbubble acquired US-based TEEPUBLIC for A$57.7 million, In October 2018.
WHY REDBUBBLE SHOW REVIEWS ON RECENTLY UPLOADED ART?
Redbubble doesn’t really lie about it or attempt to cover up its unique review method. However, they do not make this widely accessible basic knowledge.
You must first notice that something is unusual in their reviews in order to uncover this information. Then you had to google something like “are Redbubble reviews faked” or “why Redbubble user comments are same”.
There is no disclaimer on any product’s review page stating that the reviews are for the product itself rather than the product with the artwork on it.
HOW ARE REDBUBBLE REVIEWS MISLEADING?
A first-time Redbubble consumer is likely to be unfamiliar with Redbubble’s review system. They may search Redbubble for a sticker or item with artwork they like, then read the 150 good reviews and assume that the sticker must be really popular and of high quality.
Is this an issue? Perhaps not. If the sticker is of high quality and the client liked the digital artwork, the goods should satisfy the purchaser.
That being said, there might be a little error in the artwork that was not visible on the internet. For example, the print may have been a bit grainy, pixelated, or off-centered.
Redbubble provides digital mockups for its product images, which implies that the photo of the merchandise that the consumer sees is indeed computer-created. Because the design you just uploaded, and the product cannot print and imaged that fast if any defects in printing caused by the digital file are difficult to detect through the product photographs alone.
The customer would have no way of knowing about unclear or pixelated prints based on the reviews. In reality, the customer would be made to believe the totally upside-down opposite.
Customers will naturally think that the reviews are showing on products with the exact artwork on them, however, I think Redbubble’s review method is a little unfair. While the reviews are not incorrect, they are slightly confusing and not explained in the reviews section.
WHY ARE REDBUBBLE REVIEWS SO POSITIVE?
Another element that may cause you to suspect that Redbubble reviews are fabricated is the number of good ratings.
If you go and check Redbubble product reviews page of the T-shirt and sticker ratings, you’ll notice that the 5-star icon is nearly full. There are a few 4-star reviews, a few 3- and 2-star reviews, as Well as no 0-star reviews.
For emphasis, I’ll repeat the last thing on the list: Redbubble’s stickers have ZERO 0-star reviews.

REDBUBBLE CONTROVERSY OF OFFENSIVE MATERIALS:
The Age daily newspaper Melbourne, Australia, in June 2011 reported that artists on Redbubble uploaded parody designs for print inspired by satirical comic book strip Hipster Hitler. Few Redbubble customers took those parody comic designs as Antisemitism and put pressure on PayPal to inspect whether it was a violation of their policy.
Arnold Bloch Leibler, an Australian Law firm having connections with the Jewish community, severed their business relations for promoting Nazism throw the Redbubble platform. after a few weeks, The Age reported Mr. Hosking who defended work as freedom of speech in the first place, remove all artwork of Hipster Hitler and inform guidelines will be changed holocaust and other content caused offense will be prohibited.
COURT CASE OF TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT AGAINST REDBUBBLE:
Redbubble was sued in the Federal Court of Australia in 2019 by Hells Angels Motorcycle Club for infringing on their trademark and the second lawsuit was launched in 2021 evidence was given that Redbubble didn’t stop and continued breaching the Trademark.
